Scholarships will be available only to those who:are enrolled in a higher degree research doctoral program at Griffith University and are able to enrol full-time for the duration of the scholarship;have completed a minimum of 24 months full-time equivalent (FTE) enrolment; will not be in receipt of any other full living allowance stipend during the tenure of the scholarship; have sufficient effective full-time candidature remaining to complete their thesis within the tenure of the scholarship and before their maximum submission date, and have not received an extension to their maximum submission date.

• Value of scholarship 50% of the scholarship value will be borne by the candidate's Element or Group. The period of tenure of a scholarship will be up to 12 weeks, paid as three lump sum payments.

To be eligible applicants must: be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status  continue their studies in a Bachelor of Science (Environment and Sustainability) in Semester 1 2018 be entering into their third (full-time students) or final (part-time students) year of their degree  be enrolled at any USQ campus  be enrolled in a minimum of 1 study unit in each of Semester 1 and Semester 2 be studying on-campus, external or online.

If all the below statements describe you and your current situation, you can apply for this scholarship: I am an Australian citizen; I am enrolled in a course of study at James Cook University or; I am a school leaver and have applied to study at JCU through QTAC; and I will be under 23 years of age on the day of the voyage departure. I understand preference will be given if I am studying at the Cairns campus, or are Cairns resident studying at another campus of James Cook University.

You're not eligible for this scholarship if you: receive another QUT academic scholarship.

• Value of scholarship You'll receive: a scholarship to cover 25% of your tuition fees for your first two semesters (one year) of study at QUT. This scholarship is based on your entry score; an ongoing scholarship to cover 25% of your tuition fees per semester of study at QUT, provided you meet the academic conditions.

Data61 PhD Scholarship and Data61 Top-up Scholarship are open to domestic and international students. You must have already applied for, or have already started a PhD research program at QUT.

• Value of scholarship A full stipend set at a rate equivalent to the Research Training Program base rate (AUD $27,082 in 2018). The top-up scholarship is valued up to AUD $15,000 per year.
